If you begin with an email:
Please send from your NCSU e-mail account (if you have one) and be sure to include:
- An appropriate subject line
- Your NCSU Student ID number, if applicable
- Your class and section number, if applicable
- A clear and concise description of your issue
- A screen shot if you are encountering a technical issue
- If requesting a VIDEO or PHONE MEETING, please use the form on: go.ncsu.edu/cscadvising instead of sending an email
Most e-mail communication is answered within 48 business hours. During the beginning two weeks of the term, pre-registration advising, and the last week of the term, e-mail is typically answered within 72 business hours due to heavy volume.
If you leave a voicemail:
Please leave your name, a callback number, and a brief reason for your call.
For Pre-Registration Advising only:
All CSC, EFY CSC Intended, or CSC prospective majors should follow the steps here.
If you are planning to change OUT of CSC, please visit Academic Advising Services for any major outside of the College of Engineering and have them e-mail me that they have advised you. For College of Engineering majors, please visit the Coordinator of Advising for that major or contact Engineering Academic Affairs for engineering majors.
